No — this detects the site-wide Reddit shadowban (profile-level 404). A subreddit ban is issued by that community's moderators and only affects one subreddit. If posts vanish in a single sub only, message that subreddit's moderators.
Why would I deploy my own backend for this checker?
Browsers often can't call Reddit directly (CORS), and public proxies get rate-limited.
